This week I’m providing you with 3 Fables as all taken from Aesop to study:
A fable is a very short story which is written and told to teach a lesson or to make people think about what they have said or done.
Here’s the third one:
.
On the day appointed for the race the two started together. The Tortoise never for a moment stopped, but went on with a slow but steady pace straight to the end of the course.
The Hare, lying down by the wayside, fell fast asleep. At last waking up, and moving as fast as he could, he saw the Tortoise had reached the goal, and was comfortably dozing after her fatigue.
Moral Lesson: “Slow But Steady Wins The Race.”
I’ve seen members of my family making mashed potatoes…
…just like Mum used to make!
I’ve even seen younger members of my family baking cakes and using ingredients and mixing spoons and blenders…
…but I don’t think Mum used to do that!
As I used to buy my own cakes from the bakers!
You know what?
When I first read the quote at the very top of this post, I had no idea what Paul was talking about! Is’nt that strange, as when I read it again, being today, I fully understood what he was talking about.
Because I didn’t understand what he was talking about the first time round (and the first time round happens to be months ago), I ignored it and I even thought of discarding it but today, today it’s so vital, so important and so understandable.
‘Patience!’
It seems I almost lost my own ‘Patience’ through not taking time to sit and think about the above quote…
…maybe it’s because I’m not too keen on Mashed Potatoes, Packaged Cake Mixes, Frozen Dinners, and Instant Cameras myself!!!
So since I had no interest in the above subjects, I wasn’t prepaerd to listen but now I know and now I’ve learned so much from myself, just from my reaction to the above quote.

‘Patience!’
Aesop’s fable as told above covers: Confidence, Discipline, Independence, Methodology and Patience.’ Maybe it covers the remaining ‘Super-Trader Traits!’ too but I’ll leave you to ‘Think’ about the remainder, okay?
Making Mashed Potatoes, baking a Cake (from your own ingredients), cooking a Dinner and using a professional Camera (which has an adjustable shutter speed, aperture, ISO, white balance and quality settings to deal with) means you have to put all of the ‘Super-Trader Traits!’ into action.
